The City council of Tetovo has awarded municipal prize to NGO "Community Development Institute" (CDI) for their contribution to development of the civil society sector of the municipality of Tetovo and wider, as well as for strenghtening the inter-community relations

Committees for Inter-Community Relations
- capacity building program
The Committees for Inter-Community Relations (CICR), or commonly
known as commission for improving interethnic relations, are established within
every ethnic-mixed municipality in the Republic of Macedonia where at least 20%
of the citizens are of ethnic background different than the majority of the
citizens. These CICR are part of the local government and present legal bodies
and instruments at the same time, for improvement of the inter-ethnic
relations.

Community of Voucher Users
Community of voucher users program aims to increase the liquidity of the
unemployed citizens without increasing budget deficit.
This program also aims to generate activities, to improve the quality of life of
the unemployed and to support the employment of the unemployed.
Community of voucher users has three advantages: psychological, budgetary and
networking.

BONA ADVENTITIA
The view of the ordinary citizens living in minority in Tetovo region and
surrounding municipalities about the final status of Kosovo The overall aim of
the program was to provide opportunity for the citizens living in ethnic mixed
municipalities in Macedonia to express their opinions, attitudes and concerns
about the process of defining of the final status of Kosovo and to post
questions through the electronic and printed media to the governmental
officials and ordinary citizens in Kosovo.
The target groups within this program are the members of the
committees for inter-community relations from 22 ethnic mixed municipalities,
NGO members, journalists and wider auditorium within the community.

ECLECTICA
The Community Development Institute - Tetovo, within the program Eklektika - challenges of the non-majority ethnic communities living in Tetovo region (Municipality of Tetovo and Municipality of Jegunovce),organize seria of events aiming:
- to raise the issue of the participation of the non-majority ethnic communities in developing local policies within the municipalities
- to raise the issue of qualitative and quantitative equitable representation of the minorities in the local municipal companies and institutions
- to advocate the possibilities, political parties within its election programs, to address the needs and challenges of the non-majority ethnic communities and to work on the implementation.
