Development Training Team

The Development Training Team (DTT) has a strong commitment to increase the capacity of the Macedonian non-governmental organizations (NGO), small and medium size enterprises (SME) and institutions. Our methods of working is stimulating the learning processes, and contributing to the advancement of knowledge through different workshop modules and interactive learning techniques.

DTT recognizes an increasing need for individuals and organizations to enhance their special knowledge, and professional skills and qualifications to meet everyday working needs in a changing and challenging environment.

DTT’s training program aims to provide as much support as it can and their organizations can attain their potential.

Introduction to DTT

During the past several years we witnessed a dramatic process of  political and economical transition in The Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia. One crucial step in the difficult process towards democratization and civil society has been the emergence of numerous non-governmental organizations (NGOs) through which citizens have sought to address and solve community needs on a grass-roots level. At the same time, the promotion of market economy and the development of small and medium size enterprises impose a new way of work and lifestyle in society. A problem, however, is that knowledge and experience on managing SME’s and NGOs, and determining the roles they can play in public life, remain quite limited. As a result, there is a critical need for training and technical assistance in support of organizations, as they develop as partners with business, industry, and government to acknowledge and solve community problems.

All members of the DTT have an extensive background in the NGO and/or business sector and continually develop their own presentation and facilitation skills through training programs within the country and abroad.

DTT core services include training, resource materials and consulting. We provide these services at local, regional and national levels, and at present serves the Macedonian NGOs and their business and governmental partners. DTT workshops bring community leaders, staff members, entrepreneurs and volunteers together to built their skills and learn from experienced facilitators and consultants.

DTT Trainings and Workshops

Almost all workshops are organized in a modular structure. That means participants can built their learning program individually to suit their own professional requirements and schedule. DTT has made its workshops and seminars flexible and accessible, giving participants the opportunity for independent work and brainstorm, but helping them if they need guidance developing their ideas.
